The Pollyanna Principles
Sometimes a community needs a paradigm shift in order to change things for the better. The Pollyanna Principles by Hildy Gottlieb provides a great case for why a paradigm shift is needed as well as a solid plan for beginning that arduous task. This is a well reasoned book with excellent examples of how the principles work in real life. This is one book you need to read!
For Entrepreneurs and Franchising Industry - Book Review
One of the most difficult types of companies to run has to be a franchise system, a group of small businesses each covering their territory and extending the brand name throughout. Good to Great is Good and Great
If you ever get the chance to read Good to Great by Jim Collins I highly recommend it. Not only because it is a well written and well described account of years of investigation into organizations and what makes them good vs. great, but also because Jim Collins has done something that I have never seen before and certainly has never been published in a such a mainstream way.
An Insightful Review of "Trump - Think Big and Kick Ass in Business and Life"
This is a fun look into the workings of another fine book by Donald Trump in collaboration with Bill Zanker, the Founder of The Learning Annex and presenter of the Wealth Expos. Discussed are the elements of the book's format, content, and opinions and insights into the subjects presented. A great read that is both enlightening and enjoyable. A definite read for those on a journey of personal development.

Marketing Secrets of a Mail Order Maverick
This is my third review of a Joseph Sugarman book (previous reviewed: Triggers: 30 Sales Tools You Can Use To Control The Mind... and Television Secrets for Marketing Success). Simply put: the author has a wealth of experience that he shares freely. He paid attention to the details of what works, and explains his methodologies. While the book describes the basics of mail order, the principles are very similar to online businesses.
The First 90 Days - Critical Success Strategies For New Leaders at All Levels by Michael Watkins
"The First 90 Days: Critical Success Strategies For New Leaders At All Levels" by Michael Watkins is an informative book on the topic of managing transitions. Watkins is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School and this book extends the work he did with Dan Ciampa when they wrote "Right From the Start." The book is a roadmap for creating a 90 day plan when transitioning into a new role.
